も、昨日、届いてた。序章は"Historicizing Memory"。その後、ボードレール、プルースト、フロイトと続いていく。著者がどのような人かは知らないのだが（恥ずかしながら）、ベンヤミン論者なのだろう。その点で、以前のMatt K. MatsudaのThe Meomory of the Modernと同じようなラインにあるように思えた．
またそのほかに、
Rosenfield, Islael, 1988, The Invention of Memory: A New View of the Brain, Basic Books．古本屋から。こっちはおもにブロカとそれ以降の失語症研究について。こっちの方が手堅そうで、おもしろそうだったりする。
